AI Systems Notice — AI Act Art. 50
Last updated: May 28, 2026 · Effective from August 2, 2026
SpeedrunFounder uses artificial intelligence systems. In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act), Article 50, we disclose the following:
1. You are interacting with an AI system
Our core matching feature is powered by artificial intelligence. We display a visible notice on first session and maintain this disclosure permanently.
2. Risk classification
We operate at limited risk (Art. 50). The matching system:
- Does not automatically decide hiring or investments. Final decisions always rest with the parties involved.
- Does not classify or score people for eligibility for public services, credit, insurance or law enforcement.
- We explicitly exclude formal candidate-employer matching from v1 to avoid Annex III (high-risk) classification. The Opportunities board includes multiple intents (cofounder, mentor, advisor, investment) and remains intentionally generic.
3. Technology
- Embeddings: Voyage-3-large (1024 dimensions), via Voyage AI API.
- Hybrid search: BM25 + vector similarity via Reciprocal Rank Fusion.
- Ranking: weighted heuristic per persona-pair (v1), planned to evolve to LightGBM
lambdarankonce we have ≥500 mutual-accept events. - Reciprocity: harmonic mean of both sides' scores.
- Final rerank: Cohere Rerank 3.5.
- Explanation: Claude Haiku 4.5 via AWS Bedrock EU (
eu-central-1).
4. AI-generated content
When the system generates text (match explanations, intro suggestions, CV parsing), it is marked as such when shown to the user.
5. Boundaries and oversight
- The algorithm has no memory of third-party conversations — only what you choose to share in your profile + visible activity signals.
- Account deletion erases your embeddings and removes you from the candidate space.
- You have the right to request human review of any moderation or suspension decision.
6. Contact
- Questions about the system:
